A system of equations is different equations that can be used to find different variables. We will write one for the money spent and one for the items bought. Let x be strawberry wafers and y be chocolate wafers.
$3x + $1y = $30
x + y = 22
[Part B]
We will graph the two systems to solve. I am choosing this method because it is the quickest and easiest.
The point of intersection is the solution. Remember x is strawberry and y is chocolate. They bought 4 strawberry and 18 chocolate.
