Let θ be 225°,

Let r be 8 km,


A = (225)/(360) * \pi * {8}^(2)


A = (5)/(8) * \pi * 64


A = 40\pi \: {km}^(2)


A = 126 \: {km}^(2) \: (3s.f)

Area of circle: S =pi*(8^2)=64pi=201.06
