Terms are 2 , 3 , 7 , 31

Explanation:

1) given a1 = 2

an+2 = 2(an) -1

put n = 1

a1 + 2 = 2a1 -1

put value of a1 in above

you'll get a3 = 2² -1

a3 = 4-1

a3 = 3

put n = 3

a3 + 2 = 2a3 -1

a5 = 2³-1

a5 = 8-1

a5 = 7

put n = 5

a5 + 2 = 2a5 -1

a7 = 2⁵ -1

a7 = 32 -1

a7 = 31

tn = 5*n -4

here n = 23

t23 = 5 * 23 - 4

t23 = 115 -4
