One day, I decided to play outside in the snow. I guess I thought it was cool not to go out in protective wear, so into the snow I went; no coat, no gloves, no long sleeves. It was not until then that I realized it had been under 20° that day. I was shivering, I felt like I had frostbite, and I regretted not layering my clothes. The rest of the day was a struggle for me because I felt like I had a bad case of hypothermia. This all happened because I did not take the required weather precautions to keep my body temperature stable. It wasn’t very smart to go outside in shorts to play in the snow. Never will I do that again.
