So you would graph the two points to make the line, then find the slope by doing rise/run. The slope equation is y=mx +b and m is slope so u would plug that in. Then you would find the y-int / b by finding the point on the line where it crosses the y acis/ when x is zero! There u hv it!

Answer:

y=-2

Explanation:

First, find the slope using the slope formula: m=y2-y1/x2-x1

Plug the numbers into the equation and get 0

Using the slope and one of the coordinates, put the equation into point-slope form: y-y1=m(x-x2)

y+2=0(x+4)

Distribute and simplify to get the final answer.

y+2=0+0

y=-2
