Solve using inverse operations. Show your work. 3(-n + 4) + 5n = 2n

Answer:

no solution

Explanation:

-3n + 12 + 5n = 2n

subtract 2n from both sides to get all the n’s on one side

-3n - 2n + 5n + 12 = 0

Combine n’s Which actually cancel themselves out. This leaves

12 = 0

12 can never equal 0 so there is no solution.
