y = x + 4

slope intercept equation: y = mx + b

m = slope

b = y-intercept(when x =0)

use the points given; (0,4) and m = 1

to find b

y = mx + b

4 = 1(0) + b

4 = b

now put your equation together.

y = 1x + 4

or y = x + 4
