Given the two points (0,4) and (2, 6), what would the numerator of the equation for slope be?

Answer:

6-4

Explanation:

You got the 6 from the (2, 6) and you got the 4 from the (0, 4). The numerator is always (I think) the second number.

6-4 because the equation for slope is m=y2-y1/x2-x1
