During the 18th Century Wool textiles were rapidly processed in England due to the creation of the "Spinning Jenny" made by Richard Arkwright. Which allowed textiles to be made faster than ever before. They were housed in factories and were manned by workers. Men, women and children worked in these factories for long hours and little pay to create these wool textiles using the latest technology.

Hope this helps
