A vine grows 7.5 feet every 5 days. Is the length of the vine on the last day proportional to the number of days of growth? Explain.

Answer:

yes since it grows at a constant rate at 7.5 feet/5 days so it should be proportional if you treat it as an algebraic equation and solve for the rate of 1 day's growth but that gives an assumption that no factors would affect the growth and it'll always grow at that exact rate
