Answer:

-1/2

Explanation:

slope = m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) = (-2 - (-5))/(11 - 17) = 3/(-6) = -1/2

Answer:

Slope=
-(1)/(2)

Explanation:

When you are looking for slope you should use this
slope=m=(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1)) then just plug in what you already know.

y_(1)=-5\\y_(2)=-2\\x_(1)=17\\x_(2)=11

Now we insert it in the formula and solve to get the slope...

(-2-(-5))/(11-17)=(3)/(-6)=-(1)/(2)
