The rule of thumb in filmmaking is that you must shoot at least 3 minutes of film for every minute in a movies “final cut”. A 30 minute roll of film cost $250. How much will film cost to make a 90 minute movie?

I can't figure out the process of solving it!!!
P.S: It needs to be set up as an inequality
PLS HELPP

Answer: $750

Explanation:

We can solve this using direct proportion.

Let the number of minutes used be x

Let the cost be y

For direct proportion,y = kx

where, y = 250, x = 30

y = kx

250 = 30k

k = 250/30

k = 8.33

The cost to make a 90 minute movie will be:

y = kx

where,

y = unknown

k = 8.33

x = 90

y = 90 × 8.33

y = $750

The cost to make a 90 minute movie is $750.
