Answer: Hope this helps!

38 feet

Explanation:

P = 2L + 2W

Width is 7.

P = 2L + (2 x 7)

Length is 7 + 5, that equals 12, Length is 12.

P = (2 x 12) + (2 x 7)

I will first work in the parentheses.

P = 24 + 14

Now I will add.

P = 38

Answer:

length = 5 + width \\ length = 5 + 7 = 12

width = 7 \\ perimeter = 2l + 2w \\ = 2(12) + 2(7) \\ = 24 + 14 = \\ = 38feet
