It should be the below, because when you take rise over run, you get 2 as a slope, there is no y-intercept because if you substitute in a value of x, x does not have and “remainders”.

Y = 2x

Answer:

y = 2x

Explanation:

By inspection, we can see the line crossing through the points: (0,0) , (1,2)

[Use the slope formula to find m]

m = (Y2 - Y1) / (X2 - X1)

m = (2 - 0) / (1 - 0)

m = 2/1 = 2

[Use the point slope formula to find equation]

(y-y0) = m(x-x0)

y - 0 = 2(x - 0)

y = 2x
