Line A slope = 3/2

Line B slope = 2

Explanation:

We create the triangles they request for each line, as shown in the attached image, which we use to calculate the vertical change (height of the triangle) and horizontal change (base of the triangle). The height and base of the triangles (depicted in red and blue matching the color of the lines) have been highlighted for easy identification.

We estimate the vertical and horizontal changes, as well as the slope, for each line as shown below:

Line A:

vertical change = (6 - 3 ) = 3

horizontal change = (2 - 0) = 2

slope of line A = 3 / 2

Line B:

vertical change = (6 - 4) = 2

horizontal change = (3 - 2) = 1

slope = 2 / 1 = 2
