Because it gives you an example of what what going on during the time of Anne Frank. It's also very good for young people to read because nowadays younger children don't respect and put as much time into things. I remember when I read it I connected with her because at the time I was the same age as her. You could learn a lot from reading the story of Anne Frank. (sorry if this isn't the best I tried lol :))

Anne Frank is just a young girl going though so much, so I feel like I connected with her because of her fear maybe? And maybe because no matter what was happening, she stayed strong?

Its important for young people to read this because they can feel grateful, that they are not in that situation, and help understand what hardships people still are facing, because of their religion, skin tone, etc..
