Jared claims he would like to be represented by an attorney, but the judge claims that Jared, s a law student, is perfectly capable of representing himself. The 6th Amendment
No one shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Violation of the 6th amendment. The sixth amendment gives the defendant the right to a lawyer, which the judge had refused to accept claiming that he can defend himself...a violation of the 6th amendment.
