Explanation:

m/w = 5/4 given

let m = 5 w = 4

w/c = 3/7

then w = 3 when c = 7 need LCM of 4 and 3 ==> which is 12

m= 5 w= 4 becomes m = 15 w = 12

w =3 c = 7 becomes w = 12 c = 28

then m: w: c is 15: 12 : 28 in simplest form

(there is no common factor for 15 and 12 and 28 )
