Each codon has a contrasting set of bases known as an anticodon. Transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules contain anticodons. Each tRNA molecule has an amino acid attached to it; in this case, the amino acid is methionine (met). You've matched AUG, the first codon in this mRNA molecule, with UAC, its complement.
