What unit is used to measure the density of a solid??

The answers vary, but they have the same format which is

density = mass/volume

For instance, if the mass is in grams and the volume is in cubic centimeters, then the density would be in grams/cm^3, where "cm^3" is the abbreviation of "cubic centimeters". We can read "grams/cm^3" out as "grams per cubic centimeter"
