With these problems I like to work backwards a bit and break each piece down.

Start out with the answer being 20

So, equation=20

Now, look at the "the sum of a number and 12". In terms of an equation, this would be n+12.

The last piece is that n+12 is multiplied by 7.

Thus, 7(n+12)=20
