How did the Black Death hinder Europe’s progress during the Middle Ages?

The Black Death overall just brought Europe to a holt. There wasn’t really enough people to do anything so their economy plummeted. The Black Death didn’t care what social class you were in it attacked everyone but many the poor due to the fact of hygiene during this time and how it allowed for diseases to spread at a more rapid pace.

The Black Death hindered Europe’s proceeds by eroding the available work force. Population growth was important in the Middle Ages and was a hindering factor in that the population dwindled as a result of the Black Death
