This is very good but it is good to add "also" or "moreover" at the beginning of your sentences so it doesn't get to boring when you keep starting your sentences with "Setting a long term goal" or "Setting long term goals". You can put "Setting a long term goal also does this ..etc" or you can put "Moreover, setting long term goals can help with...etc"

Also on your last sentence correct "it" to "they" because the goals are plural.
