Answer: x = -28
Explanation:
3(2x + 12) = 2(2x - 10)
3 * 2x + 3 * 12 = 2 * 2x - 2 * 10
6x + 36 = 2 * 2x - 2 * 10
6x + 36 = 4x - 20
6x - 4x + 36 = -20
2x + 36 = -20
2x = -20 - 36
2x = -56
x = -56/2
=> x = -28
Therefore, x = -28
