PLz help asap

What is your reaction to the thought that Leonardo da Vinci may have been given credit for so long for work that was not his? Do you believe it? What should be done if this is the case?

I think that we should give the original artist credit. The thought of him copying work kind of shocks me. Although, I do not believe this. If it were true though, than I think we should try to find the real artist. By searching through textbooks and things like that.
