1. 17.50

2. 6

Explanation:

1A: First you have to divide the cost by the three pounds to get the price per pound. Now that you have that answer you multiply it by 7 to get the price of 7 pounds.

2A: You can buy 6 pounds because if you multiply 7.5 x 6 you get 45 which you cannot add one more 7.50 so that is your final answer.
