48 girls, 41 boys, and 5 teachers sat in the gym. Write the ratio of girls to boys in three ways.

A: 48 to 41, 41:5, 5/48
B: 41 to 48, 41:48, 41/48

So since it is asking girls to boys the number order has to be 48 then 41 because it is asking for girls first then to boys. So that makes B wrong. When it comes to the fraction part of the ratio the first number it is asking for (which is girls) always goes on top. So that eliminates C which leaves only answer to be D.
