A giraffes niche would be their long necks. With their necks they can stand up higher and eat where no other animals can reach to eat.

Giraffes don't have to contend with other animals for their food so they survive harmoniously with other animals.

Their necks are instrumental in much of this niche, determining what the giraffes eat and what they see.

The elongated necks of giraffes support them consume leaves, blossoms and fruit that are higher than most grazing animals can touch; only elephants can compete for food at the equivalent level
