the slope is 1/2
because the finding the slope is rather easy u find two points were the line passes through a point and count up and over till you get to the other point in this case u count up 1 and over 2 therefore it’s 1/2 and the line is higher on the right so it’s not negative

Two points on this graph that we can compare are are (-1, 3) and (1, 4).

From -1 to 1 is 2 points. So, the change in x is 2.

From 3 to 4 is 1 point. So, the change in y is 1.

Divide the change in y by the change in x:


1 / 2 = (1)/(2)

So the slope is 1/2.
