Answer:

9/2

Explanation:

2x-4-5= 3-2x+6 distribute 2 through the parentheses

2x-4-5=9-2x add the numbers

2x-9=9-2x calculate the difference

2x+2x-9= 9 move variable to left side and change sign

2x+2x= 9+9 move constant to right side and change sign

4x= 18 collect like terms

Answer:

x=9/2

Explanation:

First distribute 2

2x-4-5=3-2x+6

Add the like terms on the left side -4-5=-9

2x-9=3-2x+6

Do this with the right side 3+6=9

2x-9=-2x+9

Add 9 from the left side to the right side

2x=-2x+18

Then add 2x from the right side to the left side

4x=18

Divide 4 from both sides

x=18/4 or 9/2
