If a square has a perimeter of 36 mm, then all four sides were added. 36/4 = 9 mm
So 1 side equals to 9 mm.
As in area, one side times another side will be your area.
So 9 x 9 = 81
So your answer will be 81 square mm.
Hope this helped :D

i think it’s gonna be 144 mm, the area of a square is equal to one side length times 4, in this case it would be 36x4 which equals 144 :)
