\sin( \alpha - \beta ) = \sin( \alpha ) \cos( \beta ) - \cos( \alpha ) \sin( \beta )

Using the Pythagorean theorem,


\cos( \alpha ) = (4)/(5)


\sin( \beta ) = (8)/(10)


\sin( \alpha - \beta ) = ( (3)/(5) )( (3)/(5) ) - ( (4)/(5) )( (4)/(5) )


(9)/(25) - (16)/(25) = ( - 7)/(25)
