Rearrange the equation so b is the independent variable

a - 7 = 3(b+2)
a = ?

Hey! a = 3b + 13. I went about solving this by subtracting 6 on both sides of the equation. From there, a - 13 is on the left side, and 3b is on the right side. Subtract 13 on both the left and right sides, and then a is isolated. Hope that helps!
