ASAPPP ALERTTT I SWEARRRRRRR PLZZZ FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP ME :(

20 grams of hydrogen reacted with oxygen to form 36 grams of H20 (water). How many grams of oxygen were used up in this reaction?

2H+O=H2O

36gH2O x 1mol/18g(molar mass of water)= 2 moles of water

20 grams of H2 x 1/2= 10 moles of H2

2 moles of H2 react with 1 mole of O2 to produce 2 moles of water, so...

1 mole O2 x 16g/mole = 16 g O2
