Each gallon cost $6.23.
Step-by-step explanation:
25-6.31=18.69
He spent $18.69 at the store since he has $6.31 left out of the $25 he originally had
He brought 3 gallons with an equal price each gallon so
18.69/3=6.23
He spent $6.23 on each gallon
