A. this equals 4, so that's eliminated.

B. this equals -2, eliminated as well.

C. this equals 0.01! Which is in the set!

D. this equals 9.8696, WAY over 4!

The answer is C!

(side note, (-2,4) excludes -2 and 4, while [-2,4] includes -2 and 4. You can mix and match also! (-2,4] would exclude -2 but include 4, for example)
