Some Americans believe that the 1950's were the greatest decade. I disagree with that. In the 1950's it was ok, to deny LGBTQ, African Americans, and Hispanic any services, any good or any job. The racism was very bad in the 1950's. Sure the 1950's had some great music. But the way they treated people was so wrong. Everyone is created equal and should be treated that way.

No, 50s were absolutely a horrible decade. In that society is was normal to deny lgbtq, black, hispanic, (anybody who wasn’t white) services, goods, and jobs. It was segregated and people treated minorities terribly with racism, classism, and segregation.
