2x(4x-5) {You will multiply 2x by the ones in the bracket which is the 4x and -5)

So 2x Multiplied by 4x is doing to give you 8x² we have 8x² because x multiplied by x becomes 2 that's why we have so 2x Multiplied by 4x is; 8x²

And 2x Multiplied by -5 is -10x because positive multiplied by negative is negative and when the number is with a variable and you want to multiply it by a natural number it is possible but you can't add a number with a variable to a natural number

So the final answer is; 8x²-10x
