Let the height is x, the the base is 4/7x.

Their sum is 110 cm:

  • x + 4/7x = 110
  • 11/7x = 110
  • x = 70

The base is:

  • 110 - 70 = 40 cm

The area of the triangle is:

  • A = 1/2bh = 1/2*70*40 = 1400 cm²

Area of the square:

  • 1400*7/8 = 1225 cm²

Side of the square:

  • √1225 = 15 cm

Perimeter of the square:

  • 15 cm * 4 = 60 cm
