I do think that all teens should eventually get a job when prepared for one, because schools are not teaching us any skills that we need to actually apply for when we leave. We don't know what a credit score is, how to manage our money, or how to write a check, but we're learning how to solve for x, and that's highly illogical. We need jobs to learn and improve time management, learning how to work with money, and other life skills that schools are failing to provide.
