Answer:

x: y :

-5 | 51

-1 | 11

0 | 1

1 | 11

Explanation:

y = 10x + 1

(Table)

x: y:

-5 |

-1 |

0 |

1 |

Lets begin plugging in our (x) into the function

(x = -5)

y = -10(-5) + 1

y = 50 + 1 (if you multiply a negative by a negative it will be positive)

y = 51

(x = -1)

y = -10(-1) + 1

y = 10 + 1

y = 11

(x = 0)

y = -10(0) + 1

y = 0 + 1

y = 1

(x = 1)

y = -10(1) + 1

y = 10 + 1

y = 11

Plug into the table

(table)

x: y :

-5 | 51

-1 | 11

0 | 1

1 | 11
