Answer:

The person who founded Home Depot was Arthur Blank. The idea of Home Depot was created in a coffee shop by Arthur Blank and Bernie Marcus in Los Angeles, California in 1978. In 1979, the first Home Depot was opened in Atlanta, Georgia. All of the people who helped create Home Depot are Arthur Blank, Bernie Marcus, Pat Farrah, Kenneth Langone, and Ron Brill. The original envision of Home Depot was a superstore that would offer merchandise. Home Depot today is still considered a superstore but instead of merchandise, it is filled with decorations, furniture, and building supplies to help people with their houses. Home Depot has changed by having a much larger variety of things to buy and a different purpose as well. Today's purpose is to fill your home good needs while back then Home Depot was a merchandise shop. Arthur Blank is important because without Home Depot, we wouldn't have many decorations outside of our house as well as furniture for inside our homes to make them look nicer.

Answer:

The person who founded Coca-Cola was Asa Griggs Candler. The drink was made from an Atlanta pharmacist named John S. Pemberton in 1886. These two people founded Coca-Cola all on their own and now it is one of the bigges industries in America. The original idea for Coca-Cola was to be used as a tonic for common ailments made of natural ingredients. Coca-Cola was originally made from the cocoa leafs and caffeine-rich extracts of the kola nut as well as cocaine. The cocaine was taken out of the formula in 1903. Coca-Cola mostly became popular after being Pepsi's number one competitor in best soda. To do this, Coke changed their recipe and expected a positive outcome. Instead, people did not like this new recipe, making Coke change it back to the original. Coke started out as a small company and steadily grew to where it is today. Currently, 1.9 billion cokes are sold every day. Asa Griggs Candler is important today because he, along with John S. Pemberton, made one of the best sodas in the world for everyone to enjoy.

The person who founded Georgia Pacific was Owen Robertson Cheatham. As Georgia Pacific was just taking off, it began as lumber transportation through rail stations by horse and wagon beginning in 1927. Owen Cheatham did not have anybody help him in the foundation of Georgia Pacific. Georgia Pacific was created to produce more lumber for the South. Georgia Pacific has changed greatly in terms of how it is doing today. Back then, there were small manufacturing buildings and not much progress was being made. Today, Georgia Pacific is a mass producer of lumber and is making lots of money off of it. Georgia Pacific is important today because without companies like this, we wouldn't have nearly as much wood to make houses and furniture.

The person who founded Delta Airlines was Collett E. Woolman. In 1928, C.E Woolman bought Huff Daland Dusters and renamed it Delta Airlines and then the business took off from there. C.E Woolman created Delta Airlines with help from D.Y Smith. Along with Smith, Woolman made one of the biggest airline companies in the world. Delta was originally created formed from a different airline company, "Huff Daland Dusters." It still had the same purpose as it does today, to provide reliable airlines for people around the world. Delta Airlines began as a small airline company that began to profit off of their passenger care and organization. C.E Woolman is important today because without his discoveries, we would not have billions of flights around the world every day allowing people to travel wherever they want.

The person who founded Chick-Fil-A is S. Truett Cathy. In 1946, Cathy started the business with his brother Ben called The Dwarf Grill. Later, in 1967, Cathy opened the first Chick-Fil-A in a place called "Atlanta's Greenbriar Shopping Center." The people involved in creating Chick-Fil-A are S. Truett Cathy and his brother, Ben. The iconic Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich originated in The Dwarf Grill, which is where Chick-Fil-A became soon after. The original restaurant was a small diner in Hapeville, Georgia. Chick-Fil-A has changed and developed because in the early stages, it was only a diner with not a lot of food to choose from and was only available in a small town in Georgia. Little did Cathy know that this restaurant was going to be booming and become one of the top selling businesses across south. There are a little over 2,000 Chick-Fil-A's in America. S. Truett Cathy is important because without him, we would not have all of this delicious chicken in our homes and in our mouths.
