Given kx^2 +(5-k)x+3=0, where k is not equal to zero, find k if one of the roots is 3, then find the other roots

Answer:

Explanation:

kx² + (5-x)k + 3 = 0

kx² + (5-x)k + 3 = (bx - 3)(ax + n)

kx² + (5-x)k + 3 = abx² + (bn - 3a)x -3n

thus -3n = 3 so n = -1

other root = -1
