Second, put the variables on one side by subtracting 4x or 12x since they are positives which would make it, 3+4=12x-4x-15 or 3+4x-12x+4=-15

Third, put the whole numbers on one side which would make it, 3+4+15=12x-4x or 4x-12x=-3-4-15.

Lastly, solve it, 3+4+15=12x-4x, the answer should be 2.75
