Part A= 8x-20
Part B= 11x- 20
Part A explanation-using distributive property 4 x 2x = 8x
then 4x -5=-20
then put it together 8x-20
Part B explanation-
from part A you have 8x-20
then you have to add on the rest of the equation
so it looks like this 8x - 20+ 3x
you combine the numbers with x’s
8x + 3x= 11x
so then add it to the rest of the equation
and you have 11x - 20
