Answer: b= 3; 9= 18

Explanation:

You can use the length of the triangles’ base to find the scale factor.

15/5 = 3.

now that we know the scale factor, just use it to determine b and a.

to find a, multiply 6 by the scale factor because the bigger triangle was scaled up

6x3=18 a=18.

to find b, divide 9 by the scale factor because the smaller triangle is being scaled down by 3 compared to the bigger one.

9/3=3 b=3.
