4. Nearly 75% of the Tanzanian population lives on less than $2 a day. Is it ethical to spend so

much money on conservation when there are human needs not being met? Explain your thinking.

Answer: Yes and no

Explanation: A big thing to take into account is the cost of living in Tanzania, it is way lower than what it is in the United States and as such you can get by, with making way less. However, The quality of live is still way lower in Tanzania. You can tackle both issues if you are are able to provide jobs that are much more high income that also aren't harmful for the local enviorment.
