For a reflection of parabola across x axis the rule is

  • a=-a
  • k=-k

Means a turns negative

So

  • y=-8(x+10)²-7

Here a is -8

Turn negative

  • -(-8)=8

k is -7

turn negative

  • -(-7)=7

New one

  • g(x)=8(x+10)²+7

Answer:

Explanation:

Coordinates of the original down ward parabola are ( - 10, - 7 )

Coordinates of the image upward parabola are ( - 10, 7 )
