Every time the kid mispronounced my name, I just wanted

to scream. I told him how to say it correctly and other
people did, too. Still, he keeps saying it wrong, as if he's
doing so on purpose. If he does it one more time, I just
don't know if I can control myself!
What is the narrator's main conflict in this passage?
A. He has a history of beating up kids he doesn't like.
B. He has a violent temper that he cannot control.
C. He doesn't like "the kid" he mentions in the paragraph.
o
D. He doesn't like someone mispronouncing his name.
