Answer:

L = 2(16.675) - 13.2 = 20.15 ft

W = 16.675 ft

Solution

width = x

length = 2x - 4m

m = 3.3 ft

Area = W × L = 336 ft^2

(2x - 4(3.3)) × x = 336 ft^2

solve for x

2x^2 - 13.2x = 336 ft^2

quadratic equation reveals 2 X's

x = -10.075, 16.675

a distance can't be a negative so...

x = 16.675 ft

L = 2(16.675) - 13.2 = 20.15 ft

W = 16.675 ft
